Administrative Assistant - Mississauga

Job Summary

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely and accurate administrative and clerical support to the following teams:

  • Sales

  • Accounting

  • Project management

  • Service

​

Job Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Fostering cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external contacts

  • Responding to inquiries and resolving issues within the scope of the role and escalating problems as required

  • Helping sales team members prepare quotes by performing data entry and pricing audits

  • Assisting in the scheduling of both installation and service to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction

  • Writing routine documents and correspondence; updating and maintaining records; handling sensitive and/or sensitive information

  • Making minor purchases

  • Performing the following accounting functions and tasks using accounting software:

    • Paying bills

    • Preparing and sending invoices

    • Sending purchase orders to suppliers

    • Preparing expense reimbursements

Qualifications

​​

  • College diploma (2 years) or previous experience in an administrative role is strongly preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, staff and clients

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment

  • Ability to establish priorities and deal efficiently with changing priorities

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)

  • Fluency in English is a requirement for consideration
