Job Summary

​

A technician will perform the installation, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of the following:

• CCTV video surveillance systems

• Access control systems

• Intrusion systems

• Master key systems

• Intercom & communications systems

• Door hardware

• Security system infrastructure

Qualifications

• Enrollment or graduation from a college program in the following fields:

  • Cyber security

  • Electrical techniques

  • Electrical engineering

  • Electronics

  • Electronics engineering/electronics engineering technology

  • Technology fundamentals

  • Technology informatics and security

  • Building systems engineering

  • Fire protection engineering

  • Computer systems fundamentals/computer systems engineering

  • Technology informatics and security

• Ambition and a passion for technology

• Previous work experience with electronics is considered an asset but is not mandatory for consideration

• Knowledge of electronic devices and networking

• Strong troubleshooting skills

• Ability to use power tools

• Willingness to participate in numerous training programs

• Ability to complete jobs in timely manner to meet targeted deadlines

• Valid full G driver’s license with clean driving record

• Ability to pass Government Security Clearances and Criminal Background Checks
